She looked around and found herself to be left alone there. The monitor was tracking her pulse rate continuously; its respond sound echoed around the room. She tried to reach the switch that was dangling towards the wall at her head; it was for the emergency. But, she couldn’t reach it. She lies down being exhausted. She tried to console her stormy inner self; we want a son…he had made it clear days ago. It’s a girl…doctor’s voice echoed in her mind. She visions the lukewarm eyes of her husband which she saw after she denied sex at night.
