The Van Winkle Reunion (Micro Fiction)

He found with utmost bewilderment every thing had changed. The houses had grown and were of brown stones. His eyes were searching the cedar tree which was in front of his house. A high walled manor caught his attention. He walked to it and was surprised after seeing the engraved name on the copper nameplate. A car, expensive one, entered the gate leaving a trail of dust smoke. After the smoke settle, he move to the gate and said the guard to let him meet the owner. Before the guard could revert back he heard, in a heavy young voice, “Papa…”
