Phoenix of Thoughts

The candle flickering

in the darkness alone;

darkness blanket the

environs. A hazy shape

cast on the wall, mobile.

MothIt is rounding

the warm string. Now,

it’ll jump into it.

The thoughts flickering

rounding around s’thing

blindly, s’times irrationally.

Hazy they are now, but, soon

they will jump into the flame.

The moth will die; short live is

destined for it with greed for

golden hue imbued in it. The

thoughts will die also but to be

phoenix, to be born anew.
