We Few…#12

Time change…thus night come…become old…

The once chaotic Bypass–both side–thus hear zip & whoosh…

As I sat on the roof the breeze sing silence, thus…with interruption…

The moon is full…sky is white…I’m silver…or white…can’t determine…

Gariahat on other side of the Bijan Setu still glowing…

The halogen playing it tricks…

Period…I do not want to write another poem for her…

Or melancholic urban verse…or another unrequited love verse…period…

Kolkata…how was your day…

A published poet. Avid Reader. Favorite authors (few) are Satyajit Ray, Saradindu Bandyopadhyay, Bankim Ch. Chatterjee, Jhumpa Lahiri, O. Henry, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, etc. Music lovers. Love to hear Rabrinda Sangeet, Anjan Dutt, Enrique Iglesias, Mozart & Beethoven (though can't say which is who's symphony). Dislike to get clicked. Love to be self (introvert).
