Bhige Pal/Drenched Moments

Barish main bheegi hawa chu gaya is shaam

Acha hi laga is thaka hua ankhonko, manko

Yaad aya kuch bhige hue yaaden achanak

Rokna chaha par pal kisike sunta nahi…

The rain drenched breeze passes me this evening

It feels good to the tired eye, soul

Few drenched memories crowd me suddenly

I want to stop them but bits never obey…

Tried a Hindi poem first time here. Please comment and let me know your reviews.

  2. I personally want my poems to create a visual imagery & loads and loads of pity on myself when the subject matter is like the one you created in your poem and the ending words do not rhyme with each other.

    My version:

Khidki se dekhta rehta hoon bheegi yaadon ko
Goozarti hawa jab chhedti hai inn nam, bechain ankhon ko

Yeh pal agar ruk bhi jaay humare kehne par
To hum pichhe aur zamana aage badh jaata hai.
