Close your eyes and do believe me.

The drenched night breeze is a hymn

Singing of childhood, friends who are lost

In the midst of humdrums of the life;

The paths once taken or never taken;

The ten to six life spread amongst metro,–

Auto, bus, air conditioned chambers.

The dormant fissures of broken heart,–

Unfulfilled aspirations, aswium–

Also sipped in drenching the pillow

Listening the silence of rain on the city.

Close your eyes and do believe me.
