Radio & Tea

storm has raged its ectasy.

morning is gray & cloudy.

newspaper man carrying

yesterday disguised as today;

sleepy kids on mother’s lap,

s’times father, going to school–

tomorrow disguised as today.

symphony of morning playing

bull & bear on day first hour graph

my mother’s cell phone radio

set to 98.3 playing songs,

chartbusters & new,

Hindi & Bengali,

as I bite on the dipped biscuit &–

sip on the tea–medium warm…
