Today is birth date of Saint (Mother) Teresa. This is a small homage to her from this mere poet.
She stopped.
She looked around.
There were trampleds,
There were hungry eyes
There were blank breaths,
There were curse, negligence.
She sigh–may be not–I rephrased
She promised self.
The sun shines.
The choir sings up.
A God was born that day
A Saint she became that day
Not decades later…
