National Poem Writing Month ’22: 6. Where…

Where words come out from the depth of truth…

Rabindranath Tagore

———-

Where the peace means uniformity and

words haven’t lost its glory. Where thoughts

come flow like spring mountain river reaching

out to rise not ignite. There freedom is not only release

from shackles but achieved as each dreamt;

the reason is not alleyed by narrow thoughts and

depth of knowledge deep as the first sunray. There thoughts

of ancestors not lost in cavern of selfish purposes and goals. There

truth doesn’t mock itself. Awake us into that haven, Mother.

  1. Amen!
    This line sums up so much that’s happening in the world today: “There thoughts

    of ancestors not lost in cavern of selfish purposes and goals”

    You’ve paid a true homage to Tagore’s words. Wonderful.
