Dawn: A Love Poem

[This is to all the blogger friends who are in love and who are happily married. Please let me know your thoughts after reading this.]

The dawn is like your kiss at morn–soft and solace

The breeze is like your breath–bated and serene

The silence is like your eye–deep and pacific

The morn that follows is like you–

After you left me, alone in bed–

Blue, pensive, maroon…

For Her

Author: Sangbad

A published poet. Avid Reader. Favorite authors (few) are Satyajit Ray, Saradindu Bandyopadhyay, Bankim Ch. Chatterjee, Jhumpa Lahiri, O. Henry, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, etc. Music lovers. Love to hear Rabrinda Sangeet, Anjan Dutt, Enrique Iglesias, Mozart & Beethoven (though can't say which is who's symphony). Dislike to get clicked. Love to be self (introvert).
